    The PA Health Law Project works to ensure everyone has access to health care. Outside of advocating for the right to health care, the Law Project provides free legal services to any low-income resident of Pennsylvania having difficulty accessing publicly funded health care, whose health care has been terminated or reduced, or who have been denied Medicare (or similar health care programming). Additionally, the Law Project helps eligible residents apply for Medicare, responds to issues of denial of service (i.e. for prescriptions), and anyone struggling with their health care costs. The only requirement is income related, otherwise, the program is nondiscriminatory - there is a helpline which can be utilized for base information by anyone, regardless of income.     The VNA Health System provides home hospice care, recuperative care services following surgery or illness (wound care, diabetes care and management, medication management, IV therapy, medical social services, and more), private duty care for those who need home care assistance, adult day care, assistance transitioning from the hospital to the home, and flu clinics.This resource has offices in Harrisburg, Lewisburg, Lewistown, Lock Haven, Shamokin, and State College.

    COMPASS is an online application for Pennsylvanians to apply for health and human services programs.     The Central Susquehanna Intermediate Unit (CSIU) provides educational courses and career training in Bloomsburg, Shamokin, Sunbury, and Lewisburg. CSIU administers the the GED and HiSET, then assists with post-secondary education and/or employment. The HiSET is an alternative exam for adults to receive the Commonwealth Secondary School Diploma. CSIU also hosts the Central Susquehanna LPN Career Center, the CNA Registered Apprenticeship Program (The Pathway Forward), and the Guest Teacher and Education Major Program.
